Microcement price

The price of microcement depends on the size and build-up of the project. In the Microcement Guide you can calculate your project and get an indicative total price along with matching guidance.

Contec Coating microcement is applied in thin layers and can therefore be a very affordable solution.

Microcement calculator

How much microcement do you need? It depends on area, substrate, look and build-up. Enter the area in the guide and it calculates the required material quantities and collects them in a shopping list – including primer, filler, microcement, colour and sealer.

Material quantities, consumption and prices are calculated under normal conditions and standard coverage and are indicative.

Microcement over tiles

Microcement can be used over tiles and clinker tiles, so you can renovate a floor, wall or bathroom without removing the old tiles. Tiles are typically non-absorbent and must therefore be primed with CC Primer, and grout joints and unevenness are first filled with CC Filler.

Microcement for floors, bathrooms and walls

Microcement floor

Microcement is suitable for floors in both private homes and commercial spaces, provided there is a robust and stable substrate. It gives a strong surface with a raw concrete look.

Microcement bathroom

Microcement can be used in bathrooms, on both floors and walls. In wet rooms, microcement is sealed with two coats of WP Base and finished with two coats of PU Top, and the substrate must always contain an approved wet-room membrane.

Microcement walls

Microcement can be used on walls – also over tiles – so you can renovate the wall without removing the old tiles.

DIY microcement

Many people can apply microcement themselves. The Microcement Guide gives you tailored guidance that you can follow step by step.

How to apply microcement

The build-up depends on your project, but typically follows these steps: the substrate is primed with CC Primer. Tiles, joints and unevenness are levelled with the CC Filler filler. Then the PURE microcement is applied and lightly sanded between coats for an even surface. Finally the surface is sealed – with the breathable Universal Sealer or, in wet rooms, with WP Base and PU Top.

The exact build-up, quantities and order for your project are provided in the guide.

Find a microcement dealer

Enter a postal code or city in the Microcement Guide and it finds the 5 nearest Contec Coating dealers – hardware stores and paint shops. You can send your shopping list directly to the dealer, call or navigate there.

Find a professional contractor

If you would rather have a professional carry out the project, you can send a request to contractors directly from the guide. Fill in your details and a contractor can send you a quote for the project. Contec Coating has contractors all over Denmark and also outside the country.

Visualisation and inspiration

With the visualisation you can upload a photo and see how your chosen colours will look. You can also find inspiration from finished projects, explore colours and surfaces, mix your own colour and browse the brochure.
